Heavenly Father,
As we lean on you for inspiration in our work for the Mothers’ Union, and a balance within our family lives, we ask that you give us the strength to carry on with confidence in the work we do and our ability to do it well.
As we move through November, we join the nation in praying for those who have died to make our country safe, and those who still serve in our forces. We pray for those who have come back home with life changing injuries. Father God, be with them in their times of despair and guide them to acceptance of their new circumstances.
We continue to pray for the work of the Clewer Initiative, our work for hospital and prisons, for Children Seen and Heard, Baby Basic and our AFIA fundraising. We ask that you bless those that these initiatives are aimed at, women, the sick, prisoners, children of prisoners, babies and families in need.
We ask these things in the name of our Savour Jesus Christ our Lord.
