On the 13th of September, the Diocese of Oxford Mothers' Union is being invited to join the Diocese of Nandyal's Women's Fellowship in celebrating 'Women's Sunday' which is a key date in the Church of South India. This follows on from Buelah Santhosh's addressing the Mothers' Union Spring Meeting in Reading earlier this year.

There is a lovely prayer that can used from the Church of South India, which is reproduced below and also the Prayer Liturgy which you can download HERE. Please do join in with praying alongside our sisters in Nandyal.

Almighty and Ever-living God, who raised up women of faith and courage: Huldah, who proclaimed your truth; Deborah, who led with both wisdom and strength; the Canaanite woman, whose bold faith moved your Son; Phoebe and the women of the early Church, who served with devotion; and Mary, with the faithful women who persevered in prayer. Grant that we, following their godly example, may trust in your promises without fear, proclaim your truth with boldness, and serve your Kingdom with unwavering devotion. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon the women of our time, that they may be strong in faith, steadfast in prayer, and courageous in love and service, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
