IMPORTANT – Electing our new Diocesan President and AVPs

DIOCESAN PRESIDENT
In the previous edition of FOCUS we asked for nominations for Diocesan President. No names have yet been put forward. Please prayerfully consider any names of members who might be willing to take up this role. In the first instance please speak to our retiring President Maureen Weston.
AREA VICE PRESIDENTS
Tricia Campbell (Oxfordshire) and Val Bolan (West Berks) are able and willing to continue in post.
Christine Beynon (South Bucks) and Rachel Buckley (North Bucks) must retire as they have served 6 years in post. Jean Vaughan (East Berks) is moving on to become Unit Coordinator for Action &Outreach and so a new AVP is needed for this area. If you are a member in one of these areas, please consider who you wish to put forward as your representative. The Trustees have just updated the AVP role description, click on the link below to have a look at what is involved. After thinking and praying about your choice, speak to the person you feel could be your AVP and complete the nomination form linked to below. Forms can be sent to CMS House by post, marked for the attention of Louise Butler, or email it to finance@muoxford.org.uk. The closing date for nominations is 30th September.
UNIT COORDINATOR
Louise Butler must retire as Unit Coordinator of Finance and Administration. Please contact her if you would like more information about this post or if you know someone who could replace her.

Verse of the Day

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” — John 1:12-13 Listen to chapter . Powered by BibleGateway.com.
