You may remember Maria from the Dorcas Dress Project spoke about the work they are doing at the Spring Meetings, explaining how we could get involved supporting their beneficiaries if we wanted to. Maria has set her workshop up to batch cut scrubs for NHS and care staff as they support patients with Coronavirus. She wondered if any of us would like to get involved. She needs dressmakers (with a sewing machine and overlocker) who are easily accessible to Witney to help sew, but she’s also desperate for financial donations to help cover the cost of the fabric and trimmings. If you’d like more information then check out this https://www.dorcasdressproject.org/sponsor-scrubs or email Maria firstname.lastname@example.org.

Maria has been an MU member for over a year now and is very enthusiastic and committed in all that she does. As so many of us are stuck at home, this is a practical way we can help GP surgeries, care homes and home carers with their personal protection equipment. Please support this project if you can.
