More information can be found http://www.wewillspeakout.org/ Mothers’ Union have been working in conflict zones to reconcile the dreadful injustices done during war. For example: in DRC women and girls are taken from their villages by soldiers to be used as sex slaves in their camps. When the soldiers move on these women and girls (who often have babies and young children conceived during rape) are left to fend for themselves. When they find their way back to their villages they are rejected by their families. Mothers’ Union works with these groups to enable the women to return to their homes and renew their former lives.
