A message from Wokingham All Saints Branch:

Pam, Jo and I are really excited to share with you our poster and invite with the details to our major fund-raising event of the year!!!  We are so excited about this event, so please do put the date in your diary!!!!  We would like an idea of numbers nearer the time, for catering purposes, so if you could let me know if you and any of your friends and family would like to attend - we’d really appreciate it!

On Wednesday 18th June, between 2pm-4pm, we have ALL the halls downstairs, booked in the Cornerstone, Norreys Avenue and we would LOVE to fill all the space, with you lovely people!!!

You will discover more about the wonderful presence MU has in this amazing continent. African music will be played in the background and we will have lots of artefacts on show.  

Jo will be in charge of our African themed raffle -   We are still collating the gifts, but there will be no doubt, we will have some great prizes to win.  If you cannot make it, but you (and your family and friends!) would like to purchase any raffle tickets, to support our event (or offer a donation), we would greatly appreciate that too. Please contact Jo c.c’d on this email.

This year we have decided to split the proceeds between 3 worthwhile causes:-

• MU African charities

• Potters Village, Uganda - following on from that brilliant talk from Ruth about this amazing charity, we would like to support them too

• All Saints Church

We will be serving refreshments, including a glass of bubbly, not only to celebrate Princess Sophie becoming our Mothers’ Union Patron, but to also celebrate our All Saints MU branch reaching a whopping 135 years old!!!!

Please do spread the word!  Pass this onto all your friends and family and we look forward to hearing from you.
