We are invited to attend the Cathedral for Evensong on 9th August. The service starts at 6.05pm. We will not be able to take our seats until 5.45pm once Choir Practice is over. If you have a MU Banner you are invited to bring it, and they will all be displayed in the North Aisle. Do bring a stand if you have one. You can bring them early as long as they are there by 4.30pm, and go for a cup of tea in Oxford, or put them up at 5.45pm. There will also be a MU display  in the same area. The Cathedral are putting on a Wine and Soft Drinks reception after the service.

There is no parking at the Cathedral. If you hold a Blue Parking Permit, you can park in the Disabled Car Parking in St Aldates, just outside the Cathedral. Should they all be taken, I am advised by the Cathedral staff that you can then park on the double yellow lines.

It is also possible to do a drop off, and I then suggest you go and park in the Westgate Car Park and walk through to the Cathedral.  

The best way to get to the Cathedral is via the Redbridge Park and Ride and the Oxford Parkway Park and Ride.

From Redbridge, get off at the County Court, cross the road and walk up to the Cathedral. To return you walk down to the left from the Cathedral and the bus stop is just outside the Police Station. As it is a Sunday there are not as many buses, but if you check the return times, before walking up to the Cathedral you will see the timings, and the bus numbers you need to catch.

From Oxford Parkway you can get on the Park and Ride bus as well as the 2 and 2a. They all stop at Magdalen Street and from there you can walk straight down Cornmarket street and St Aldates to the Cathedral. To return you walk back up to Magdalen street and you will see the Bus Stops for the 2 and 2a. Again, you can check the times of buses back to the Park and Ride at those stopes before you go down to the Cathedral.
