Retreats and Quiet Days

In our busy lives, it is often difficult to snatch more than a few moments to be quiet with God. If we can set a longer period of time aside from time to time, it can make all the difference and sustain us during those busy times.

Mothers’ Union Branches and Prayer groups often organise quiet times for members – they may be whole days or just evenings.

The Oxford diocese organises a retreat each year, when members can get away together for peace and quiet and prayer. These are real times of refreshment and spiritual growth when it is much easier to hear God’s voice and to discover what he might be calling us to do and to be for him.
