Emergency Prayer Chain

When there is a crisis it is a great comfort to know that we don’t face it alone.

The Emergency Prayer chain works by sending an email to members who have promised to pray regularly for the situation. In a short period of time many people are lifting up your needs to God. People tell us that they gain great strength and comfort from this prayer ministry.

If you would like a prayer for yourself or someone else, or a crisis situation then please use this contact form below to send us a message.
Prayers will be offered for a month, but if you would like our prayer to continue, then just let us know. If your prayer needs change, then again, please feel free to advise us.

Please use this contact form to access the Mothers' Union Oxford Diocese Emergency Prayer Chain only.

Verse of the Day

“[The birth of Jesus foretold] In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, ‘Greetings, you who are highly favoured! The Lord is with you.’” — Luke 1:26-28 Listen to chapter Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica. Powered by BibleGateway.com.
