Diocesan Child Protection Statement

As a registered Charity we have our own “child protection policy” which was compiled with the assistance of the Oxford Diocese and MU Central HQ, a hard copy of which can be obtained from the Priory Room Office.

All our Trustees are CRB checked, together with any members who are working with children on behalf of the Mothers’ Union, Diocese of Oxford.

In situations when a parent or guardian is present, we follow good practice, as laid down in the “child protection policy”.

We also endeavour to promote a culture of awareness.

Training is regularly given to update the membership about changes in legislation.
